It can be installed from a
website, CDROM or via a company network.
Can eDesktop be tailored to my brand ?
eDesktop is fully customisable
so that it perfectly reflects a company, its brand or
products.
Can I use eDesktop to remind users
of important dates ? Yes,
using a simple admin web page it is possible to set
an unlimited amount of reminders and alerts that will
appear on the users eDesktop.
Does it dial up to the net if users
are not already on ? No,
eDesktop will wait for the user to go online and then
check if there have been any updates.
Will eDesktop keep popping up all
day long ? No, eDesktop
will only prompt the user when there has been a new
broadcast.
Will eDesktop run on an intranet
with a firewall ?
Yes.
Will it slow down the users PC ?
When eDesktop is minimised
as an icon (i.e. most of the time) the performance of
the user's computer will not be affected.
Do users always have to be online
to run eDesktop ? No,
eDesktop can run offline.
Can the user uninstall eDesktop
? Yes.
