eDesktop - An alternative to email broadcasting

Research shows that email is the tool of choice in most business environments, but it has severe limitations when it comes to delivering rich media content - nearly half of all HTML messages received are difficult to read because of errors.

With the overwhelming volume of messages, almost one-third of all emails never get opened and of those that do only a quarter are read properly, making email a very inefficient delivery system. Added to this, issues of spam are making users more wary of email announcements and even less likely to open or read a document.

With eDesktop the user has requested information and can receive it safe in the knowledge that any messages will be relevant and free from unwanted material.

The anti-spamming legislation that came into effect in the UK on 11 December 2003 does not cover business email addresses, therefore UK employees and owner / managers will still continue to suffer the annoyance of ever increasing amounts of spam.

However, with the Internet being such a fantastic place to sell services and market products, companies now need to start looking at alternative methods of communicating away from conventional email. This is why eDesktop is such an attractive application to corporations as it has been developed exactly to do this.

The receiver of the eDesktop information can be confident that the news delivery does not contain viruses nor inappropriate material, especially important in the case when dealing with sensitive issues or children. The content of the eDesktop can be trusted.

With more and more spam email coming through the inbox everyday, the emails that do have some interest to you stand a very slim chance of actually getting read - especially when you return from holiday and there are hundreds of them.

From our clients' point of view, they don't want to know that their online marketing campaigns are just being deleted as soon as they are sent out - they want to know that they are actually being read.
