Omron monitor sales using eDesktop

Omron Electronics, one of the largest electronics companies in the world, is piloting the eDesktop as an important supplement to its internal communications.

One of the issues in the brief from Omron was for them to be able to automatically broadcast sales figures and forecasts directly to desktops of the sales force in an easy to use, yet highly effective way.

The eDesktop acts as an automatic 'alerter' service running on the company intranet, broadcasting important sales information at precise times of the day.

The eDesktop also has the facility to deliver important product news and information to different departments within the organisation (e.g. tech notes, new product releases, company alerts and training modules). In this way a wide group of personnel are able to be kept fully informed on the issues that matter to them individually.
